This pillow is amazing.

I have no curve in my neck. I only recently found out via my chiropractor that this is so and that this is the cause of my neck pain/numbness/tingling. This travel pillow is one item that I purchased in order to hopefully reduce my neck pain. I am incredibly sensitive and also have to change position often while working. I bought this along with a high-back computer chair. This pillow WORKS for me. I can very quickly deflate or re-inflate as necessary for however I happen to be feeling at the moment or whatever works for the chair I happen to be sitting in. (It needs to be almost completely deflated when I'm sitting on my sofa, but almost completely inflated when I'm in my office chair.) It is so amazing that I'm here to buy another one. My new chair has lumbar support but it's inadequate for my comfort level -- I need more support than it provides -- so currently my AirComfy pillow is actually serving as a lumbar support pillow. My actual 12-inch tall lumbar support pillow that works so well for sitting in the car just doesn't work with the design of my computer chair, but this small neck pillow fits right in the curve of my back. Now I need another pillow for my neck. Bottom line, this pillow is one of the reasons I am able to continue working. I was in so much pain and discomfort that I was going to have to quit my job working from home as a transcriber. I needed the high-back chair as well so I had something to rest the pillow against, but the chair alone does not support my neck at all (I write this with a rolled up towel only sort of working in place of the neck pillow since the neck pillow is, as mentioned before, supporting my lower back instead right at this moment since that was where I was feeling more discomfort). Like puzzle pieces, both the chair and this pillow together are making it possible for me to continue life as usual. The next time I go see a movie in the movie theater, where the dumb seats seem to curve the wrong way (I am not a human letter C!), I am totally bringing both pillows with me and maybe I'll be able to watch a movie in comfort for once.

AirComfy Travel Pillow - more trouble than it's worth.

I purchased this travel pillow to replace an inflatable one that I had used successfully for many years on cross-country flights to provide lumbar support. Since my old one began to leak beyond repair I sought a more substantive travel pillow that would hold up under continual wear and after reading reviews that were mostly positive from AirComfy's customers, I settled on the AirComfy Travel Pillow. Pros: this pillow is sturdier and provides very good lumbar support. Cons: the padding inside the pillow that gives it its sturdiness also results in a much bulkier product even when uninflated. It's a challenge to get the pillow back into its case despite collapsing it after removing the air and securing it with the valve and even more of a struggle to remove it from the case. I discovered the valve wouldn't stay closed when in the case so the pillow was aerating causing the user to have to literally peel the case off the pillow to use it. When the pillow is fully inflated, it's not much larger than when it's uninflated -- in other words, you can only get so much air into it. During a 6-hour flight, I had to fill the pillow three times so gradual leakage does occur. For lumbar support this pillow is effective, however, it's not without major shortcomings and for the price, I expected more.
