T-fal Ultimate Stainless 10-Pc Cookware

We received a set of T-fal cookware for our wedding 21 years ago. We are still using that set. I've been wanting to go from Teflon coated to plan stainless steel for some time, so I bought this one last week on sale. I used the small pan to make some instant gravy and forgot to "stir continuously" which left me in horror thinking I just left a burn mark on the inside of the pan. Nope. After some stirring, it didn't even stick to the bottom. Good pan. I have one other stainless steel pan (when you cook big meals, three pans isn't close to enough) that is another brand, and it has "oil canned" on the bottom, which prevents it from being usable on flat glass-top electric stoves. I'm happy to toss that thing, and I'm looking forward to seeing how well the thicker bottoms of these T-fal pans hold up. I would give 4.5 starts, if it were possible. My 1/2 star demotion is because we are going to need to buy a larger sized medium pan. These set come with a small, medium, and large pan. The medium sized pan from our old T-fal set is larger than the one in this set. A bit of a let down, but not enough to warrant a full star. Overall, we are pleased with the set. I look forward to fully testing them and look forward to using the steamer.
