Excellent

The snails are heated to make them stressed to release the precious goo. It is not an entirely ethical product, but then again, what truly is? Snail goo is the single best skin treatment I have yet discovered. Replaced some subscriptions that were expensive and had terrifying listed side effects. Absolutely wonderful stuff. Odorless, fast absorbing - this alone makes it so unique and wonderful, even if it were less effective than other products. Yet it is more effective. I put it on cuts or any skin concerns at all. As a clean freak I wash my hands an absolute ton and use a good amount of hand sanitizer and this is the solution to the skin dryness that can cause. I have gotten this as low as $9 iirc sometime in 2022 or so, the price fluctuates alot.

There's better products than this.

I used this for 3 months to give it a real chance and here is my conclusion. It felt great at first but alone is not hydrating enough, so I bought the Snail Mucin moisturizing face cream to pair with it. Over time, my skin looked so dry, dull and ashy. Does not help with wrinkles (I'm in my early 30's so they are beginning to show- especially forhead lines.) This just didn't do it for me. It doesn't plump your skin, doesn't give it a balmy, youthful glow. There's no helpful acids to rejuvenate cells or shrink pores. I don't get much acne but I will say it never made it worse. This just isn't penetrative or hydrating enough. Just felt like a layer of slime that quickly dries and never quite sinks in, leaving my skin thirsty for something better.
