I had to switch my kids school systems and at the old school they used this but the new school was not up with the times so I bought these to teach my kindergartener with and it perfect for everything we needed. All three kids are able to use and learn ages 5,7, and 9 with ease. All blocks have held up and I have no complaints

Smells so toxic

I imagine whatever rushed process they used to get them out quickly with the pandemic rush has created something toxic. However base 10 blocks are essential for early math learning, so I will probably return these to get another brand and hope for the best. The book is great with this set though.
