wrong part in box
By Carol on Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2022
Inexpensive solution for the space gap in an entertainment center not proportioned for today's tv's. My tv now sits higher in the console, which is great. But, the end caps are made of plastic, so beware! If you turn the poles too tightly, they might break. My problem is one of the endcaps included is too small, and won't fit to allow me to finish assembly. I can make do, but QA was poor on this product.

This was perfect for mounting our TV in the large opening above our fireplace. Allows room for equipment (modems, etc) underneath top shelf. Looks very elegant. Highly recommend.

I used this product for the TV in my bedroom. Just sitting on the dresser, the TV wasnt really high enough. This makes it much easier to see. It also swivels so I can turn it if I'm sitting in my chair or when I'm getting ready for work in my bathroom in the mornings. I was afraid that for the price it wouldnt be sturdy. But the wood is heavy and very pretty. Super easy to assemble also.
Overall a good and inexpensive large two tier swivel riser

This large two tier swivel riser works for my application which is to hold my flat screen TV above my center speaker on my AV rack as shown in the accompanying photo. Although the questions and answers say variously that the distance from the top of the bottom shelf to the bottom of the top shelf is from 7 inches to 9 inches depending on the source of information, I measured this distance on the one I received to be 6 and 7/8 inches. I measured my center speaker's maximum height, which is at the center of the speaker, to be 7 inches. As you can see in the photo accompanying this review, I was able to wedge the speaker in between the shelves because the particle board shelves bend a little. This two tier swivel riser supports my 46-inch diagonal flat screen TV on its stand, which according to the TV's specifications weighs 42.1 lbs. with the stand. With this TV, its stand, and the center speaker installed on it, this two tier swivel riser swivels smoothly without dragging, catching, or making any scraping noise. The two tier swivel riser arrived on time without damage and with all of its parts. The assembly instructions are clear, and it is easy to assemble. I am deducting one star from my rating because the listing on Amazon does not contain any description of the materials that this item is made of, so one cannot know whether the shelves are covered particle board, mdf, or real wood, nor whether the supporting rods are metal or coated plastic before purchasing the item. Looking at the sides of the holes in the shelves, it seems to me that the shelves are covered particle board. The supporting rods look and feel like coated plastic. At this price point, those materials are to be expected, but the vendor should specify them in the description of the product in the listing for the product. The vendor should also list the inner distance between the shelves so that the consumer does not have to rely on the wildly varying and inaccurate answers of other consumers in the questions and answers section.

This is a well made and very good looking product. It sits on a cherry cabinet and is a perfect match in color. The TV on it is 43" and an estimated 50 pounds. There is a slightly noticeable sag in the middle of the top shelf due to the TV weight but nothing objectionable. Although probably not needed I did place a thin rod between the shelves in the middle of the stand. One reviewer said that the turntable was removable. The key to doing so appears to be a screw in the center of the turntable but on my copy the screw head was deformed and would not accept the screwdriver. I had thought the turntable might result in some instability but that turned out not to be the case so all is well on that account. It came securely packaged and I am thoroughly pleased with the product.

Just purchased, put together (in less than 5 minutes from package to tabletop! needed something to accommodate my flat-screen TV and all the add on components (Roju, DVD player and receiver) in a small space. This was definitely the answer. I highly recommend this product for quality, function, and price!

This is really an awesome price for this item it was perfect exactly what I was looking for and the correct measurements. Only complaint is that the supplier does not provide the measurements but one of the customers did offer that information. I purchased a Samsung 40” TV flatscreen 4K and like all new flatscreens they have the legs to the side instead of the center which makes it a pain to find a stand for it unless you go for those low TV stands. This gave me the height I wanted and the width I need so make sure you measure those legs and add an inch for safety!!!
Good, but specifications are off. Quick & friendly customer service.

I previously purchased the narrow version of this stand, and think it's just great. This one is supposed to be almost identical but wider, it is not. It is actually 31 1/2" x 15 1/2" x 8 3/4. This is at the widest points. There is some curving to the shelves. The inside height between shelves is 7 1/4", less when there is weight on it. Mine has sunk to 7" in the middle and I'm no where near the weight limit. That makes this shorter than 23" wide version with a smaller distance between shelves. It isn't a deal breaker, but the same components I had underneath don't fit as well. Also the build quality seems 3 star at best and what you'd expect for the price this usually sits at. Do not be what they call 'list' that is twice as much. Edit 12/19/15: Upgraded rating to 4 stars. I called CC's toll free number and told them about the pipes. I got the impression that there might have been a change to the product as the representative referred to the longer pieces as 'the old length'. She took my information down and mailed the longer pieces to me via 2-day mail. I can't complain about that. If it is an intentional change, and not just the wrong part included in my package, I don't know why. If the extra 1/2" is important to you, measure the pieces you get and call them if they are too short.
Fit my needs

I purchased the Convenience Concepts TV stand and wanted to add some height not only for my TV but to place some items under the TV. What I didn't take into account were the legs of my TV (has one at each end instead of a middle stand) so the product didn't work for me so I've used it for a different purpose. As far as the swivel, it can in fact be removed. Grab the plastic top on two sides, pull and it will come off without breaking (just be careful). Below is another plastic piece, remove it and unscrew the screws on the bottom plate. I removed the two side bearings as well, then flipped to use the clean side. I didn't have any issue with stability after removing the swivel and bearings.
