Works, but some initial items
By Raptor on Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2018
I’ve had this for a day now and here are my initial observations. I needed mainly a large, sealable pitcher for iced tea. And one that could handle hot brewed tea poured in. The product seems to handle this function sufficiently but so far I have two concerns. Likely my fault but I did not realize the shape of the pitcher. It appears round in the picture but is actually oval shaped, I assume to fit better in the door. I actually think square or rectangle would be more efficient. Not a big concern, but not what I expected. I was looking for as large a pitcher as possible. This item says 2.9 liters. Why not 3 liters? :) The other item is more disconcerting. I have found black plastic pieces breaking off, which I would not expect. The first I saw was when I initially hand washed the pitcher. Perhaps a left over piece? More concerning for me was when I started drinking a (white plastic) glass of tea. I discovered another piece of the black plastic in the tea. Yikes! I hope this is it for unexpected particles.
