Wonderful Knife Set

These knives have been a wonderful surprise. At the price, I wasn't expecting so much. The handles are vibrant colors and provide great feel and grip. The blades are surprisingly good steel. The knives hold their edges really well. The balance is perfect. The storage block is even pretty nice. The scissors are amazing. Really pleased. Update: After more than a year of use, I like these even better. The serrated bread knife works wonderfully well for many jobs, even tomatoes. The edges have remained sharp on all with only ocassional steeling.

Not a quality product

So disappointed. I loved this set when I got it in Sept 2017. It was beautiful and the knives seemed like great quality. Plus it matched my dinnerware. Currently April 2018 and this just happened with my Chef's knife. I use this most often but have never had this happen! I had a Calphalon set bought in 2010 that I was replacing and they were in way better shape. And out of a return window so there's nothing you can do. Crappy quality. Obviously the cutlery quality does not match the dinnerware quality.
