This seems to be a good quality scale so far, and they come in great colors (although that's the least important thing). The most important features of a scale (unless you just like to decorate your counter top ) is the ACCURACY and being USER-FRIENDLY. This does seem to be very accurate, as I have compared it with other scales and calibration weights. However, what you should know, is that this scale has an AUTO SHUT OFF timer, which is only a couple of minutes, and then it BLACKS OUT WHILE YOU ARE STILL USING IT! When you turn it back on, it has NO MEMORY of the last weight recorded, so it really screws up the process of measuring and weighing things, which defeats its purpose. As a sidenote, it has a beautiful oval (hard plastic) tray that fits securely over the round measuring platform on top, so you can measure with less worries about spilling. But again, that is much less crucial to the purpose of a SCALE then the most important, which is to ACCURATELY WEIGH things, and be EASY TO USE. Also, it has NO CHARGE, NO PLUG IN, NO WAY OF KEEPING POWER continuously flowing to the unit, so you have to rely on batteries, which will eventually die out, including at times when you are still using the unit. They could have easily made this with a USB charger, or some other kind of plug in unit. That would have made this product FIVE STARS, or even TEN stars if I could give it that. When I find a scale that has features I just described, with this beautiful design, I will be the first to write a raving review.
