these guys are awesome - super easy to use... not the easiest to clean if you let the veggies dry on them but if you wash them off right away or just throw them in some water for a bit, you are good to go.... in case you don't know what you would do with this... here is the basics... two recipes thrown out here) - enjoy!BASICS (1 - mexican style, 2 - italian style)3 - 4 medium size zucchinis, washed1 medium sweet onion, diced2 -3 cloves of garlic, chopped1 can of diced tomatoes (1 - rotel, 2 - italian spiced)1 cup of cheese of choice, shredded (1 - chipotle or cotija or cheddar, 2 - mozzerella and parmesan)meat of choice (1 - chorizo (need to cook first if normal 8 - 10 oz tube), 2 - pepperoni or italian sausage)spices (1 - cumin, oregano, and chili powder, 2 - italian seasoning)Salt and pepper1) spiralize zucchini with skin on over colander and salt liberally - allow tp drain for 20-ish minutes... can squeeze water out or spin it out, just decrease some of the moisture content.2) Saute onion in olive oil until starting to carmelize, add garlic, then spices, then tomatoes and meat. Cook down over higher heat until less liquid. Add zucchini and continue cooking until like pasta in sauce (prob 12-ish minutes) and it starts to soften up a little (but stays "al dente").

Just ok

I thought this was going to be a kitchen staple but wow it is a lot harder to use than expected. I tried making zoodles and it was quite hard to get a good grip to make even spirals. The top that is supposed to hold it together when the veggies get small doesn't even stay on! I stuck it in the zucchini and all it left me was a prick on the top. The top is completely worthless and I'm pretty sure I threw it away out of frustration. This isn't completely useless though. If you really try hard enough, you can get decent spiral shapes but it gets increasingly harder to do when you get toward the end.The price is cheap so the product is the same; it completely reflects on how much you're paying. It really does feel like something you win at a crane machine or the dollar store. I tried it once and it didn't impress me at all so now it's sitting in my cabinet. If you're really looking to get good spirals, get one of those big crank spiralizers. They're relatively inexpensive and I find they work extremely well and will get the entire vegetable spiralized. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product as it is just a decent product. It works fine but it's not great. For reference, I would contemplate buying this for $2. Save yourself the time and look somewhere else.
