The House of Saxon Badger Shaving Brush

I have been wet-shaving for several months now, and I decided to try this brush as it could be a potential diamond in the rough. It arrived today, and it was as pictured/presented in the listing. The Brush: This brush is sold as a "Natural Badger Brush" which is an unusual way to sell a shave brush as all the rest are sold by grade which are: "pure badger, best/fine badger, super badger, or Silvertip (best)". The grade of the hair is not listed, which is shady, but it could be due to House of Saxons unfamiliarity with the wet shave market. The brush itself is packed well with soft bristles that reek of an animal odor which is normal, it and has a nice attractive handle. I was able to get a rich, thick lather with this brush with minimal effort, which also exfoliated my skin due to the coarser bristles. This shows it is a high quality product. If I had to guess I would say this brush is a high quality pure badger brush. Overall I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I can't find anything wrong with the brush. It is well made, well packed, retains water very good, and gives the best lather I have used to date. * I paid FULL price for this brush, and did NOT receive this brush as part of a promotion or for free. This review is 100% my unbiased thoughts. Buy this Brush! It is good!
