Slow Juicer

9/22/2016 Near one year of usage. The NutriChef has been a great juicer. I currently make juice every other day, it has been that handy to use and cleanup is very easy. I have recommended this juicer brand to family and friends. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My first slow juicer so I was excited to use it. It was quiet and the juice and pulp was excellent. I am somewhat mechanically inclined so assembly and disassembly was not a problem. Cleaning juicers are a pain in the neck so this is where I found that there could be more instructions on what components should be removed. Cleaning the components that I put together were a breeze. I hesitated on uncoupling the orange plastic piece at the pulp extraction chute and tried to clean around it. I eventually uncoupled it (with the thought of having to replace it if damaged) and the cleaning went great. I have used it several times since delivered. I have also recommended this unit to my family. 12/06/2015 The first unit quit working after 4 juicing sessions. Returned and eventually a new unit was at my door. the email communication between pyleaudio and me was great, when I called as requested to talk with a tech support the very long wait as the "1st caller" went into three days and I went back to email logging each encounter. This is something they can work to improve. The juicer still is amazing, I like the output and the ease of cleaning. I still recommend to friends and family!! Thanks

This product is horrible. There are several design defects. The pulp ejection chute gets stuck. See attached pictures. As a result the pulp ends up mixing with the juice. There is no active screen cleaner that you have on all vertical masticating juicers. The mesh screen is of very weak build. I started to see little dents on the very first day. This concludes the review. I hope this saves you guys from making a terrible purchase. **************************************************************************** If you would like to know more about my experience: I was very excited when I got this juicer. I have a Breville centrifugal juicer. I wanted to graduate to a mastigating juicer. I held off on the purchase for a while until there was a good juicer at a reasonable price. Amazon promoted this as the #1 New Release. I saw a 5 star review and went for it. After using the product I can tell you for a fact that the previous reviewers have no business recommending a juicer. One lady even put bananas through the juicer! She doesn't even know the difference between a juicer and blender! Most of them seemed to have gotten this product for free in exchange of a review. Giving 5 stars in exchange of receiving free stuff is plain wrong.

I have had the juicer for about 11 months now and it is starting to show its (young) age. It performed adequately for the price for the first 6 months or so but it is made of cheap plastic parts that break easily. The plastic housing on the strainer is cracking in multiple places. I mainly juice vegetables such as apples, carrots and beets so it's not like I'm putting it through the wringer. I probably use the juicer twice a week and its unfortunate that it is failing after less than a year. In retrospect, I would have simply spent a little more money and purchased something longer lasting. I'll follow up on the warranty process and how easy it is, if it is even legitimate. Update: So if you have any inclination that the product isn't going to last (which you should) I would stay away from the product. The warranty information they provide is for NutriChefUSA - a completely different company. NutriChefUSA customer service emailed me back perplexed and said they don't make any juicers or other appliances like it. I called Amazon and they just gave me the same faulty information that was on the website. Apparently Nutrichef is made by a company called Pyle Audio. Their website is pyleaudio.com but their website is not the most confidence building. I found it funny how the juicer was listed at a price of over $200 on their website. Anyways, I have yet to hear back from them about a warranty and I assume it will be more hassle than is worth my time. In the end, I would try your luck with another juicer from a company that has a legitimate return and warranty process and is easy to find in the first place.

Chews up most everything I put through it & works better than the higher rpm ones ive tred around $100. Just take my advice and dont try and pull any juice out of thick fibrous stems. I did chard and it jammed. Does the greens just fine! Need to cut a little more but it is also not much slower than the other style juicers in its price category.

I have been using this for one week now. So far it works very well. The pulp is very dry and it cleans up easily. I was NOT offered this unit in exchange for thiss review, how do I get on the list to get free stuff in exchange for reviews? .. Edit I noticed that somebody else said theirs quit working after a few days. I loaded mine up and it tripped the internal c?b. All I had to do was wait a few min and it reset itself. The machine works just fine.

For someone wiht arthritis in their hands this product is hard to get apart. Does extract just as it says but the juice was minimal .

Squeezes juice out of hard (carrots) and fluffy (wheatgrass) with equal ease. Handy for a single serving or batch juicing for refrigeration. Love it!

At it's price point this juicer is unbeatable, I don't think there is another slow juicer even close in price. I use it daily. My one problem was the basket ripped after only a month. The company did replace the basket after my sending photographic proof and the new basket has held up fine. I would recommend this product

I really don't know where all these 5 stars reviews come from. I was so excited when I just got it as I was starting my cleansing. But during my second use it just stopped working. I had to take it apart, clean everything put it back, then it starts working for couple minutes. Then stops again. It's so annoying!!!! The pulp thing is so small. It gets stuck all the time. I've never seen anything like this. The worst juicer I've ever had. Sending it back tomorrow. After 2 weeks of trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Don't recommend it to anybody.
