TRIXIE Miguel Fold and Store Cat Hammock

I bought this for my two kittens, they were 6 weeks old when I purchased it. I was attracted to it because it was smaller and could be folded up which was great for my studio apartment. My kittens have done their very best to destroy it in the two months we have had it. They started ripping up the staples that attach the hammock, have really chewed up one of the openings, and tore off both balls (I was only able to reattach one, the other was DESTROYED). When we initially set up the tree, they quickly discovered and began chewing some sloppily placed glue on the inside. I also have had to constantly vacuum the area around the cat tree because they tear out little pieces of fluff. Obviously a cat tree is meant to be destroyed (rather than your furniture) but I am giving 3 stars because I would have hoped for a little more durability. There were also a lot of pieces of stray glue and string that my kittens loved to try and chew on, it's an inexpensive piece of cat furniture but the quality posed a safety hazard for little kittens, and I expected better. If you're concerned about safety and have cats who love to destroy things I would look elsewhere. Otherwise, based on price and convenience as far as space, this is a good choice.
