Highly recommend!!

I received this set as a gift! I have been using a Cuisinart stainless steel set for the past 10 years. I love the look and shape of these pots. They're deeper and more narrow rather than wider and shallow. My food doesn't stick in the pans! I've never figured out how to use my stainless steel pans without my food sticking. These pans have allowed me to discard my nonstick pans I've been trying to get away from. An unexpected bonus is the handles don't get hot while cooking! I love that, especially since I have small children that like to help! Clean up is a breeze!! I haven't had any trouble with sticking. I suspect users who do are using too much heat. Water boils and food cooks much faster and more evenly! By the way, I have a gas stove. I highly recommend this set!!

Poor performance on induction
By Joseph Solomito on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2016
The main reason that we bought this cook set was to use on an induction type cooktop. Yes, they do work. No, they do not work well. We had previously used a Chantal cook set where one pot cost more than this entire 12 piece collection. I don't think the Chantal cookware was worth the money because the finish was not durable and the handles had a tendency to keep falling off. It did however heat extremely well on an induction cooktop. Not so with the Cuisinart. We are used to being able to fill a pot with 4 quarts of water and have it boiling in a matter of minutes. With the Cuisinart, even on full power,, 15 minutes later we still only had a few bubbles here and there. It got so frustrating, we ended up getting out one of our old-fashioned enameled steel pans, starting from scratch again and having fully cooked pasta while we were still waiting for the Cuisinart to come to a full rolling boil. These are probably a very acceptable set of pots and pans for a gas stove or for a standard resistance type electric stove but I would strongly recommend against purchasing them for an induction cooktop.

Lets start with positives the look and build is great and had the correct weight but first time i used it for frying fish the food got stuck, i have used other steel sets so this was not my first rodeo. I had seen that happening but usually the surface is smooth enough for the food to come off and continue cooking but this one just kept getting stuck. One of the reason i am replacing mine is that my old set started doing the same but it was after 5 years when the surface is no longer smooth. Just to make sure that it was not me i tried fried poach egg on smaller pan but it had same result. I was hoping to buy a set i can use it for few years but returned it after first use.
Easy enough to scrub that off

Seems decent enough. Usually comes out of the dishwasher with a strange smeared look to it. Easy enough to scrub that off, though, if you want. I usually just hand wash these, anyway. Heavy, but not too heavy. Feels strong. Cooks evenly. No complaints so far.
Great Cookware Set!
