Third immersion blender and so far my favorite.

Should have gotten this a long time ago. This is my third immersion blender. It seems to have more power than the others I have owned. Some things I have tried like peanuts in an avocado salsa would have been better in a blender. But doing soups and sauces is great. It isn't a replacement for a blender but it sure comes close. Just depends on how you are using it.

Avoid the refurb

I got the refurb. Big mistake. The lock/unlock button would not latch in the unlock position. So it takes 2 hands to start the blender. My wife is on protein shakes preparing for weight loss surgery. We HAVE to have this. I’ll be returning as soon as I get a NEW replacement.
