Awesome Vacuum

This vacuum is awesome. I bought this because my old Dyson (can't remember the model but it was the yellow one that was one of the first Dyson models sold) wasn't working as well as I liked. I had vacuumed with the old vacuum just a few days before the DC65 showed up. When I got the DC65 I vacuumed again and couldn't believe how powerful the vacuum is. The bin filled up completely before I was done. I have fairly long carpet fibers that have been matted down over the past few years. After using the DC65, the fibers were pulled more upright and the carpet almost felt new, if only for a few days. I am very impressed, especially at the refurbished price. A few scuff marks but overall it looked brand new. Can't recommend enough.

Never again! Buyer beware!

I had to do an update to my first review. Initially, there was a part on the canister that didn't function properly (it would not release the bottom of the canister for it to be emptied in the trash). After MANY times emailing and contacting Dyson, I finally heard from them and they sent another part (which I had to fix). It still doesn't function properly and after emailing them again, they have said "you are out of luck" but in a nicer, less assertive, unhelpful way. I'm so disappointed in this company. I had bought many of their products because I thought they would be the type to stand behind their products. I will NEVER buy another Dyson. If they decide to do the right thing, I will update this review. But I take these reviews seriously and they impact my buying choices. I would not recommend anyone buying their products. They stall you long enough that you are past the "window of returns" and then send an email saying that you are out of luck.
