Sunco Lighting 80W LED Wall Pack

I don't know if it dims well, I didn't put in a dimmer yet. But, wow. The amount of light and the temp of the light is exactly what I was looking for.

Very good light. I was not given any incentives or rebates for a review. Just my opinion. First, Good pricing, I am a contractor and these were half price of lighting I can buy at my wholesalers. I thought they might be cheap because of that, but they were perfectly fine. Good Quality. I replaced 400 W Halogen wall packs on an industrial building. This light was well made and easy to install. Hinged on the left, opens like a door. Quick connection to 110 v wiring inside. Case was sturdy metal and lens was glass. This light is brighter than a 400 w halogen wall pack but not too bright. There are two circuits inside so if you wanted to, you could leave one unplugged and only use half the light if you thought it was too bright. I love it, great for security. And Yes, it came with a UL label on it. NOTE: This is a MUCH better light than the 80Watt version, which they sell as a direct replacement for the 400 W halogen. The 80 w housing is light weight, difficult to install and easy to crack. The 80W light has pegs on the back that keep it a half inch off the wall. If you are bolting thru the housing you will crack the thin case as you tighten the bolts. Also has a flimsy gasket as someone else mentioned. Strongly do not recommend that one. Spend the extra $50 bucks and get the 120W one, it is so much sturdier. I bought some of both lights but wish I hadn't. See pic, it lights up our parking area like a showroom. Note, they are not as glarey to look as indicated by pictures because the camera creates "stars". Only one complaint, they arrived late (for a prime item). DON'T order a lift or ladder to hang them till they arrive!!

So far so good with these lights. Hopefully they will last for awhile. Pretty good deal buying them in three packs. They are also adjustable for brightness with three settings.

Light is very bright and adds a good look to my outdoor garage coach lights.

This light fixture is not what it used to be. I purchased five of these in the past. They were excellent. Glass lens, super bright, very good quality. I needed another one, so I clicked on "Buy Again". What was delivered now is half the size, has a plastic lens, a plastic reflector, and doesn't put off near as much light. Look at the side by side photo. You can see the difference between the "Buy Again" image and the cheap light that was delivered on the right side in the photo. Amazon returned my money and provided free return shipping. I found close to the original light with the glass lens, LED mounted to the aluminum housing for cooling, and very bright by WareLight on Amazon. These bulbs are perfect! Very bright and they look great in my brand new bathroom!!

Unfortunately I had to return them as due their shape, they would fit my fixture without hitting the globe. They are longer than a regular lamp.

FOLLOW UP - just had another one die. This time they sent a replacement with only a phone call - great customer service! I'm still in search of replacement drivers for future issues. ------------- I've purchased four of these in the last 18 months and I've already had to replace two of them. The drivers tend to go bad as other reviewers have stated. (side note, if anyone has a link to replacement drivers that work in this light, I would love that info!) The first time I contacted warranty service, they wanted the light shipped back at my expense because I was outside of the 45 day window. When I read the website now, they promise return shipping up to a year, so I'm not sure if that is a recent change. To avoid the hassle of returning and leaving a hole in the wall while I waited, I went ahead and placed another order and returned the bad one on the same order through Amazon. The second time I contacted warranty service, they simply wanted a copy of the invoice and a picture of the light "not working." They immediately shipped me a replacement, sent me tracking, and did not ask for the non-functioning product to be returned to them. Going forward, I hope the durability of the drivers improves. Also, I would be happy with just a replacement driver as they are super easy to install - 2 minutes tops. If you can install the light to begin with, the driver alone is simple - much simpler than taking the bad light down and installing a new one. It would save them money as well - win/win! I would give only 3 stars based on good performance but poor reliability. However, the ease of the most recent warranty replacement experience earns a 4 star rating.

I bought this to replace a pair of 150w floodlights on the backside of my house. For the money, this is a nice unit. The LEDriver looks standard but the led panel, it looks custom so I'm not sure if it is replaceable. Anyhow, my only beef with the unit is it is fairly thin metal and will flex quite a bit making it difficult to install on surfaces that are not perfectly flat. There is a rubber gasket behind the unit that is quite hard to compress so you almost need to get a recessed junction box In behind it so you can screw down to it and compress the gasket. Then you can use the three screw holes to mount it to the siding or concrete or brick. I didn't have a junction box so I just screwed it to the siding and added washers till it was flat. It is up in the airbaboutv18 feet and shoots a lot of light. Way more than the floodlights.
