A good set/mix of excellent pots and pans

We got a set of Calphalon frying pans for our wedding 13 years ago. My wife and I always loved them, so this Christmas I decided to replace our other pots & pans with them. This is a good, useful set, and we gave the frying pans from this set to other family. We have been loving these new pots, and would highly recommend them. They heat well, are sturdy and heavy, and are easy to clean (dishwasher and by hand).

I was so disappointed. I had never bought a set that was supposed to be great quality. After 1st washing I could see pit marks. I returned the set. Still am disappointed that they didn’t work out.
