Bambusi Bamboo In-Drawer Knife Block

The knife block is very smooth to the touch and easy to clean and fits well in the drawer. However, I have standard size cabinet drawers with the self close. Some of the knives are too tall to fit in the block and close the drawer. This is not the fault of the block, just something to be aware of when thinking of purchasing. The reason for the 3 stars is some of the knives won't stay in the grooves. I'm very careful when closing the drawers and the self close doesn't slam the drawers shut. The vibration of the drawer closing is enough to make the knives come out. It depends on how wide the knives are whether they will fit well into the grooves. Even with this minor irritation I do like the block and how most of the knives are kept organized. This is the first one I've ever bought so I'm not sure if other blocks have deeper groove or if that is the standard depth. For the price it's much better than reaching into a drawer full of sharp knives!
