I have owned a pair of Parrot Zi 3's for about 16 months now. Overall a great product. The noise cancelation is very effective and the audio quality is fantastic. The ability to pair with the app may not be for everyone, but adds a lot of features not available to competitors. For example, when I am in an office environment, I invert the noise cancelation so I can hear everything around me. When I hop on a public transit home, I turn it all the way up and let the noise fade away. For the price, they should include a hard case, but other than that, no complaints. I actually broke the plastic on my first pair of Zik's (totally my fault). Parrot customer service was super easy to deal with and they honored the warranty even though it was months expired. Within 10 days, a brand new pair of Zik 3's were on my doorstep, sealed and brand new. Noise cancelation: 9/10 Audio quality: 8/10 Comfort: 7/10 Value: 8/10 Features: 10/10 Durability: 8/10 PS, they break in over time and become more comfortable with more use.

Poor quality

I paid extra for one day shipping only to be disappointed. The product looks brand new unopened box. Security tape were not tampered on both ends. First thing I checked was the infamous falling apart ear pads...my wasn't falling badly but the black fabric that covers the back of the cup was not on tight. You can see where one side is completely touching the plastic surround (don't know what to call it) and some part is not and that's where you can see the white foam behind it. All other form and fit are good. The sound is okay. All the different sound setting is fun to play with. The equalizer and concert hall effect does add some amusement to listening. Then another issue came...when the volume is turned up and you can really hear the music going....you get popping sounds...what the heck! First just the right side, then half an hour later, the left side. Previous headphone was the Sennheiser momentum 2.0 wireless. Cost more but comes with a case and Awesome build quality and sound. Got stolen so I gave these a try.

Wish this unit was a better performer for the price. Comfortable to wear. Was a bit challenging to pair.
Solid bluetooth connectivity, good/very good noise cancelling, but mediocre sound. Could easily be much better

Don't really get what's better about these vs. the old ones. Wireless charging?! Overall they're good, I like them. Wireless connectivity options could be better (it's hell when using with multiple devices), connect logic is not great (connect to last used device or don't connect at all). Bluetooth earphones like Bragi Dash have a better connectivity logic (connect in order of pairing). Battery life sucks, accessories (extra battery, case) are expensive. Sound is good, but not great - greats mids and very decent highs, but lows are so so. Especially when listening to FLAC using USB is where you get the sense of their acoustic limitations.
Do not purchase

Do not purchase. They were great until they stopped working. Mine stopped just after a year. Absolutely dead. I've been through endless emails with their support, with them constantly blaming it on the battery or my USB cables. I paid $400 for these to just have them die, and then for them to absolutely deny any type of service because it was past their 12 month warranty period. If you take the time to scan reviews, even on Parrot's own site, you will see that others have this similar problem and also get ignored by their support. Absolutely unacceptable for headphones of this price to die within this timespan and then to have them completely wash their hands of any responsibility. Get Bose QC 35's instead. I also had a pair of those that also were out of warranty and had non-user caused issues and they simply replaced them. I would never even get a drone from Parrot after this experience either.
The sound is excellent, especially using the various settings in the app

Rarely write reviews, but wanted to share my thoughts using these headphones for the past month. The sound is excellent, especially using the various settings in the app. Much better than my Bose QCs. The noise cancelling is very good as well, and I really like that you can adjust the degree of noise of cancelling that you want in a given environment. The microphone for calls works perfectly. You can talk at a low volume and folks can hear you speaking as if you were right there. The downside is that you need to buy your own hardshell case if you want one for ~ $40. The battery lasts ~ 6-8 hours on average in my experience. Could be better yes, but easy enough to recharge as needed. I bought an extra battery and that's an easy solution if you have a long trip ahead and want to remain wireless vs the wired option which the Zik 3 offers. If wired, the noise cancelling is lessened, though still sounds terrific. Before purchasing these, I was debating between the Zik 3, the Sennheiser Momentum 2 and Bose QC 25. I've been very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone.

[one week after use]. Personal thoughts: Amazing sound quality and the noise cancelling is top notch for the price. Pairing to devices could be slightly easier, but for a techie, it was a non-issue. Right ear responds great to touch operations and it adds a cool-factor when using. Pros: Noise cancelling. Sound range. Style. Cons: Minor pairing issues. Decibel output. Amazing mid-price headphones.
Good product, Zero Out of Warranty Support

These worked great for about 18 months, then the USB port stopped working. I can only charge via wireless now and I can no long stream USB. Buyer beware: Parrot has no out of warranty repair options. If they break out of the warranty period Parrot expects you to buy a new pair, they have no repair centers, you cannot exchange for refurbished, nothing. You cannot pay to get them fixed. Know that you will spend several hundred dollars on something that may be garbage the day after the warranty is up. It's really disappointing since they are very comfortable and have great sound. I will probably never buy another Parrot product. I bough these for traveling but now, since I no longer wear them while charging, I don't know what I'm going to do on long haul flights.
Buy these (simply enough)

These headsets are simply the best I have ever used. I'll explain, prior to these I have used Beats Powerbeats over the ear wired headsets, Powerbeats 2 wireless, Beats Studio wired, Beats Studio over the ear wireless. I won't go into how many times, I have returned, refunded, one or more of those products listed. I haven't tried them since Apple bought out the company. And the list continues, I tried Bose OC 25 noise canceling wired headset, still have the Bose old school wireless over the ear headset, and countless other non-BIG brand wireless headsets.....AND none of them, literally none of them have come close to this headset. I have only done maybe two other reviews in my life and those we're because the companies asked me to. This one I really felt like doing. When my mother said that she could hear me and not everything else around me, I knew it then I would keep these forever. Oh yea, I didn't even mention the Kickstarter / Indiegogo headphones that I have tried and/or still waiting on...insert sarcasm here. So, when I say these are simply the best I have ever used, it's because they really are the best wireless headset I have ever used.
Nice, but could be a lot better for the price...

Only allows one device paired at a time. No internal voice prompts whatsoever. Very slow to connect to any/all Bluetooth transmitters. Sounds great, once you finally get it connected. Earpods on the small size and don't compare with Bose QC35's in terns of comfort and ease of connecting. You've got a fair product that the could become a real hit with a few more customer conveniences incorporated into the unit.
