This rug set is dark red, not burgundy like the discription, which would be more of a purple-red. The color is true to the picture. I was trying to find dark red rugs to match my shower curtain and Target didnt have any red bathroom linens. Very disappointing coming from a store thats logo is literally red!However, Amazon did not disapoint. I found these and the picture looked more of a dark red so I gave it a shot. I opened them up, rolled them out, and they matched perfectly. It was also just the right size to fit in front of my tub and the sink...bonus points!I was so excited I took a shower just to try them out. They are sooooo beautiful and soft, which made me feel beautiful and soft. The grips on the bottom kept them from sliding and there are no loose threads or extra fuzzies that often come on regular rugs. They absorbed the water without any bleed through. Although, I dry off a little while I'm standing in the tub so I don't drip water everywhere, but they still did the job.They finally combined memory foam with shag carpet and created shag foam! Love it. I have had many other memory foam rugs that go flat after washing and drying. I'm only going to wash them in cold water (like the tag says) then lay them to dry, so they will last longer and be easy to clean. The price is right, I would recommend them to everyone. Do something nice for your feet...you're on them all day, don't they deserve a little love.(Also, I'm remodeling the bathroom so the floors have paint splats all over them. And yes, I'm replacing the tile. I can't have these sexy rugs on that unsexy floor, now can I?)

They are just "okay"... which kinda bums me out...

I have sort of mixed feelings on this set, which kinda bums me out... since I was super pumped about this purchase.I went on the search for shag mats because #1, well, I needed some new mats for my bathroom... and #2, because my folks had a shag rug in their bathroom and I seriously thought it was fantastic. lol.After searching around on Amazon, with "shag" as the key word... I was excited to see they had a version which ALSO had the memory foam in it. I figured it would be a perfect combination... since my previous mats were memory foam.In theory, it should be fantastic... but I have to say, I was slightly disappointed.The way that they were designed (like perhaps when the top shag part was sewn on, it was a bit too small?), they sort of curl up on the sides.Not just some of the ends flip up... its kind of like the whole mat is actually curled... like a bowl (but obviously not THAT drastic, at all).Now because of this, they get moved around ALOT. Whatever is actually on the bottom used for gripping, doesn't work well at all. I have marble tile, and they both get slid REALLY easily whether you are on it, or not. I was hoping that they would eventually lie flat and "fix themselves" after being taken out of the package and placed in the steam/moisture of the bathroom buuuuuuuut...its been almost 3 weeks, and no such luck (I've still got my fingers crossed though).They are true to the color as advertised in the photo, and they really are a comfortable set of mats to step on when getting out of the shower....... but I'm just not SUPER satisfied with them, and that is why I only gave them 3 stars.They are just "okay"
