I’ve had this stovetop kettle for a few weeks now. Since the day it was delivered I’ve used it multiples times a day, it has never been empty. It holds the temperature of the water better than I was expecting. The construction is just fine, but I’ll mention that the lid is looser than I was expecting—it felt like it was gonna fall out the one time I poured it empty. The loose lid can also be a pro since it allows you to adjust the angle of the gauge without taking the lid off. Overall I’m pleased with this kettle, especially at the price! I’ll update this review in a few months.

Faulty Thermometer

I first bought one a few years ago and have been pleased with it until recently the thermometer started registering very high showing the water was boiling when the water was not even close to boiling. I decided to buy another Coffee Gator this March 2025 to replace the original one. But after a couple of weeks of usage with the new one, the glass on the thermometer has bubbled and like the first one, is registering the water temperature at boiling when it is not. I can't depend on this product anymore for proper pour over water temperature.
