This works great! We have it in the garage by access door. My parents love it when they visit, kids use it to put rollerblades on, great storage (flip flops fit on the floor under two storage shelves.). Assembly was a breeze - our 8 year old helped. Do NOT tighten the screws all of the way until all screws are in, otherwise it will not go together. We put all screws in a couple of turns, then rotated the tightening until they were all in completely. Sits solidly on our concrete garage floor - no rocking.

It's a really nice shoe rack but I think I was an unlucky buyer cuz I got a damaged one with missing parts. I think it's a used one because the holes in the wood part of the seat had been previously used and stripped out.
