As good as the most expensive non-stick pans I've owned!

Everything is perfect about this pan! The size is ideal for a grilled cheese or a personal omelette, for example. Nothing -and I mean NOTHING- sticks to this. You have to use it correctly, though. Please, read the instructions BEFORE using it for the first time. And remember that it is HIGHLY recommended to not use it at the highest heat settings. I've been cooking with it for several days now, and I always preheat it at a #6 setting (particularlyfor omelettes), then lower it to #5 or #4, depending on what I'm cooking. Again, NOTHING sticks to it. Plus, cleaning is a breeze. Get one... you'll be glad you did.👍🏻🤩

Very nice pan
By djd in Greenville on Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2016
UPDATE: Returning this item! At medium heat levels, there's a 50 degree difference between the outer portion of the pan and the middle. Not a big deal if you're doing a wet sauce, but for anything else that needs even heating, it's a non-starter. Seems like a very good product. A couple of notes... The "TECHEF" stamp or imprint on the handle on my 12" pan is not straight. This didn't give me a high level of initial confidence in quality control. The cooking surface seems to be high quality and after several uses I can confirm it's very non-sticky. Just as important, the cooking surface is FLAT and you won't find that your food (eggs, for example) slide to the outside perimeter of the pan as if they're trying to flee your spatula. The handle is very nice despite the annoying crookedness of the brand name. (OK, yes, that really does bug me. I may have to do something about it. I mean, really? I have to look at that every time I use it.) The pan is well balanced, lightweight and easy to use. The rim is deep and well-rounded, which let's you slide food right out. The bottom is attractive (You know it matters! Who doesn't like a nice bottom?) but it made a disconcerting, slight scraping noise on my conduction cook top even after a few washing's, so I hit it with some 1000-grit wet sandpaper and a sanding block to make sure it's as smooth as it can be. Again, quality control? Heating: This pan replaced my venerable T-Fal 12" Teflon pan (the one with the red dot in the middle), which heated beautifully on the conduction cook top, just as well as my high-end stainless pans. The TECHEF needs a higher setting to get to the same temps. YMMV. Not of much consequence to me since I never use very high heat on non-stick, but so you know, if 5 is medium heat in a regular pan, I need to use 6 or 6.5 to get the same heat out of this one. I have not yet used it in the oven so can't speak to how it performs if you brown something. Time will tell - it seems like a very good pan. In my experience, no matter how careful you are with your non-stick, you're going to need a new one in a few years - either the kids will use a fork to stir something, or Kosher salt will take it's toll and slowly make the Teflon rough, or maybe they just wear out. It's annoying and wasteful to toss an otherwise fine pan out. (Planned obsolescence?)
