iRobot Roomba 860 Robotic Vacuum

THE BEST DECISION WE HAVE MADE FOR OUR NEW PLACE!!!!! I've been wanting a Roomba ever since we moved into our apartment! It's not a big space, 550sqft of hard wood flooring and 100sqft of carpet in our balcony/patio. At first I couldn't fathom to spend the money because our place was already small, and I had no excuse to just sweep myself everyday instead of spending X amount of money. A little background about us: We have the most adorable french bulldog that loves to bless our floor with hundreds probably thousands of fur strands a day. And it's not just him, it's me and the environment too! We live in Honolulu, Hawaii near the beach, and our place gets more dusty than what I'm used to back home in California, plus I have a ton of hairfall which isn't the most appealing either. But I thought, so what? We don't need a Roomba. We don't make a ton of money and this robot isn't something we need anyway. It was okay because I knew I had no excuse not to get a little exercise here and there while cleaning, although in the back of my mind I would think, "I wonder how life would be with a Roomba." I had recently gotten pregnant one month after moving, and I thought to myself "How am I going to do this every day with a belly?" since I would literally bend down or get on my knees to handheld vacuum our 100sqft patio, plus sweep. Come a few months later, on Amazon Prime Day... the Roomba was ON SALE! I put my foot down and told my husband "We need to get this. It's on sale. It's meant to be!!" So we jumped the gun and purchased it. AND BOY HAS IT BEEN LIFE CHANGING!!!!! I have never felt so comfortable and happy knowing we can turn the Roomba on everyday if we'd like, and our floors would be spotless!!! We also use it for our carpet in our patio/balcony, and it has NEVER looked CLEANER. It looks and feels cleaner than when we first moved in!!! You don't realize what clean carpet in a balcony/patio does until you actually really clean it, LOL. I mean it is a patio so we figure "whatever we're rarely there", but BOY WHAT A CHANGE!! We enjoy our patio more often now that it's always SO CLEAN!!! Our quality of life is significantly, SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER. If you have a dog, or you tend to sweep daily, I totally suggest this. Even for a small place like ours, it was totally worth the investment. It's perfect because it's so small and portable, its easy to store and takes up almost no room or storage space! This has got to be the best purchase we made for a home product! Before choosing this model, I did a ton of research. The base model I felt was plenty good, and since we are on a budget I figured we could get that one. However, I liked how this model has 5x the air power so it's supposed to be more powerful, and nice to know that some of the other higher models have the same air power as well but this particular model was a fraction of the cost. Based on hours of amazon reviews, youtube reviews, consumer website reviews etc... for the price this was the best bang for the buck. We are so happy we got this model and would not change our decision for anything!
