I had a similar model for years. The mesh on the top finally wore out. I'm surprised it lasted so long actually as I work from home and had it on nearly all day every day! So when the mesh really tore all the way off and then the heat option died I knew it was time for a new one. I did my research and read reviews and this seems like a newer model of what I had or something very similar (I had already tossed my old one stupidly so I couldn't remember the brand!). I received this one very quickly. Excitedly got it out and was very pleased with what I saw. Very sturdy and seemingly very well made just like my previous one. I turned it on and it's exactly what I wanted! After using it for a fee months a few things I have noted: - the controls are easy. Just click to turn on and it's on heat. One more click and it's on massage with no heat. Another click and it's off. This is backwards from my old one so I still tend to double click the button to get heat. Old habits die hard! - the massage is very uniform. There is not as much up and down motion of my foot on the massage pads as there was on the old one. I like this. Feels like a deeper massage when you press down and it avoids the slight problem I had with the old model where I would move my foot into an uncomfortable position from time to time due to the height of the massage rollers sort of grinding into my foot uncomfortably. I have tried and tried to see if there is an uncomfortable position for my foot on this model and can't find one! - the massager does not have an auto shut off. I used to have to turn my old model on every 8 minutes or so it seemed as it had an auto off. Which I was so used to it didn't bother me but I had wished it at least went for 30 minutes or so. This was does not shut off. Honestly this is my only complaint. I wish it auto shut off after 30 minutes or an hour or so. It isn't hard to click back on. It is so much quieter than my old model (another plus!) that I often get up from my desk and leave it running not realizing it is still on. May also be part of my old habits die hard since I was so used to my old massager auto turning off but this one slightly concerns me. I know the chance somehow it would short out or cause a fire, etc. is almost non existent but in the back of my mind I worry a bit when I realize it was on for hours accidentally. Plus, all the extra electricity it was using and I try not to have my kiddos touch it unless I am there with them so it worries me a tad if it's on with the heat. Curious toddler in my house! Honestly this is my only complaint and not a huge deal. I'm just a worrier and kick myself when i leave it on by accident! * I am a chronic pain sufferer and have a form of dystrophy that has caused nerve pain in my feet for years. Having a foot massager has literally improved my life. Whenever my feet get sore or I have spasms or shooting nerve pain I go to the massager and 10 minutes later I'm all set. I suggest this to everyone but especially anyone with foot pain issues, nerve pain, low circulation, etc. would highly benefit from this. We are planning a trip to FL this summer and honestly I was trying to think of a way to bring it with me. Which I can't since we are flying but I don't know how I will do Disney without this after! That is how much a part of my life this massager is. Would make a great gift for anyone with pain issues as well.

Great function, but dependant on seating position.
By Calvin on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2017
It feels good, but not all that practical to use. It has adjustable legs on the back to allow for some adjustment of the angle, but I could never find a position which allowed for a good setting position and allow for good contact with the machine. Setting on the edge of the couch/chair was a sacrifice I am not willing to always commit to for the sake of using this massager. If you can find the right setting position though, this item can do wonders for the feet. The rollers are very powerful and took some heavy abuse/pressure at times. The heat function is a definite plus also. If it could achieve a higher angle to accommodate a better seating position, it would definite deserve another star. I tried to devise a workaround, but it would then slide away when too much force was applied.
