Works! I have used it almost all my life

Easy to use (just add a sheet to the laundry), no smell, soft. This thin sheet added to the laundry captures the color and you have no stain on any other piece of clothing. I use it only when i have new clothes or if i have a doubt with bright cloth. I usually use half a sheet even to have the pack last longer and it works great. Great value and worth it to save your clothes and keep them longer as new!!

Why is there a scent?

I've used these for years as they work great. In addition to using them in mixed laundry loads, I'm a quilter who prewashes my fabric, so they get frequent use to make sure no fabric is bleeding. However, this last box that just arrived smelled like the worst laundry detergent smell ever, which I'm really sensitive to. Hopefully I can use them without the scent transferring to my clothes and fabric, but right now I can't even walk by the box on my shelf without wheezing.
