A little disappointed

I believe these might be hand painted so there is obvious variation and my toddlers clearly don’t mind, but I’m a bit disappointed with the quality of some of the vehicles. There are chips in the paint on the school bus, and it looks like crayon on the mail truck. I expect more for the price I pay for a Melissa and Doug item.
