Olee Sleep 14in Heavy Duty Platform Bed

Putting parts together into a bed frame is straightforward. No manual needed. However it took a lot of effort to place slats into tight gaps. Every one of them is difficult to install. I have to hammer them in or else they would not slide in. I've also tried standing on the slat to push it in but it won't budge. Hammer is the only solution. Not sure how I'm going to disassemble them. 1 screw is bad and can't go all the way in. This frame doesn't look that high on the photos but it is very high. Very hard to grab items from the floor without getting out of bed.
