MY Dog LOVES this!!
By Bondigitty on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2023
My 80lb German/Australian Shepherd is a frisbee junkie. Out of all of the flying dics and rings he has, this one is the most durable, my fav to throw, and at a great price! It has a nice weight, so although its not the farthest flying, its distace is 100% satisfactory to me. Its heavy enough to not get tossed around by the wind, or flip sideways in the air, is easy to throw, flys straight, and my hands dont get quite as slobbery as a traditional frisbee. The design is pure genius. The soft rubber ridges allow my dog to bite down hard without puncturing because the grooves between the ridges are deep enough channels for his teeth to grip but not destroy the hard plastic core. Even though it has some weight, the rubber is soft enough to catch in the air without hurting his mouth. Not at all like the hard plastic traditional frisbees. I dont let him play with throw toys unless we are actively playing fetch, so I cant say how well they would hold up to a chewer as a chew toy. Normally Zeke cronches down hard on his fetch toys as he brings them back, so he has a lot of swiss cheese looking frisbees, and this is why I tell him we cant have nice things, lol, but these have held up impressively well, and I cant recommend them enough if you have a fetch dog that is also a little rough on their frisbees. 10/10

Frisbee seems very rugged and great quality, but too heavy to play catch with dog.

Our Lab is an extreme athlete who plays frisbee daily. This well constructed frisbee is more like a chew toy for a dog, as it drops out of the air like a stone after a short distance before she can catch it.
