Used in my college dorm
By Biancamicaa on Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2024
I used this in college next to my bed as a nightstand/desk/vanity considering I had limited space in my dorm. Sorry I have no pictures from when I had it. But, the triple shelf worked great as I used the top shelf for my makeup, the middle shelf for my perfumes, and on the bottom shelf I had a 3 tier Desktop organizer which I used for my school supplies (folders/binders/misc). With these desk shelves, I made sure to put my makeup on the top as it was light/ easy everyday access.. the middle shelf for perfumes because they were light, and the bottom shelf for my school stuff because it was the heaviest stuff. On the desk part, I had a clock lamp in one corner & a stand up mirror in the other & still had space in the middle. On the perfume shelf, I kept a coaster there too for when I wanted water next to my low-to the ground bed. It doesn’t come with a chair but I used a stool chair from 5 below & it fit perfectly & could tuck under. It was easy to build, and the color was great, looked like real wood. In terms of sturdiness, I had it on carpet which helped, but it was a bit wobbly. This is not a desk that would be comfortable for adults unless they are 5’3 or smaller like me but it is functional for a great price! Hope this helps!

Not particularly sturdy
By Wiccadwitch on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2024
So I realize this is described as a laptop desk and with that in mind I gave it 3 stars instead of the fewer I was tempted to give. While I expected it to be small, wanted small in fact I really wasn't expecting it to be quite so flimsy. It still works for my purposes though I do question it's probable longevity so I won't be returning it but I would likely pass it by in favor of something that looked more sturdy if I had it to do over. And honestly I would not be surprised if I'm looking for a replacement in a few months because this thing just didn't hold up.I am using it for an actual computer and said computer is an old vintage model with a crt monitor but I do think the items on the desk still fall within weight limits. 😅 I just worry despite that the whole darn thing might collapse eventually. I'm probably not giving it enough credit and hopefully it defies my expectations I just won't be holding my breath. Now onto the general stuff. The particle board on all components is fairly thin. The "legs" are just that same thin particle board. Obviously no storage beyond the shelves but that is sufficient if you don't have a ton of stuff. If you use an external keyboard with any setup you put on this I do recommend a keyboard tray because really the space on the desk itself isn't going to feel adequate for more peripherals than a small laptop and mouse. Also I'm 5'4" around 128 pounds and while the height and size of the desk is completely fine for me I'd bet for anyone particularly tall or large it might feel rather cramped.
