Best replacement wheels for office chair
By K.S.McLain#1 on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2025
If you need to upgrade your office chair wheels. These are great!! My chair wheels didn't want to move easily or would get stuck and yes we looked at them nothing was preventing them just poorly made. I have hardwood flooring so my floor wasn't an issue. My husband told me to research replacement wheels. The chair company didn't have any solutions. I came across these by office oasis, they are a small family business in the USA. 🇺🇸Rollerblade style wheels. My chair is a bit taller when new wheels were put on, no biggie chair is adjustable. They are nice. I do have to be careful now. Chair moves so great, fast, smooth and with such ease, that there might be the possibility of your chair moving before you sit. I highly recommend these wheels. They are worth the money. They are well made and they have a lifetime warranty!

They might be TOO good.
By James Rowell on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2025
They really are nice and smooth, quiet and solid build. The only trouble is, they are SO good, that when you move your chair into position it wants to keep moving, it takes effort to stop yourself. Any little slope or dips in the floor, it slides down the tiny slope or into the dip. Sometimes a little force from your body, like an arm leaning on the table might move you in the direction of the force. One thing that occurs to me, is that the standard wheels that were on my Herman Miller chair had two points of contact per wheel (like a pair of wheels per "foot"), and these only have one point of contact per wheel. So, the Herman Miller standard wheels kind of average out any dips in the floor because of the two points of contact, which might lessen that tendency to settle into dips in the floor.I've ordered a little throw rug to put under my chair at my desk, to see if it dampens down the responsiveness of the wheels. An amusing side thought: these wheels on my hardwood floor are at least helping to give my core a slight workout as the day goes on as I have to spend some energy to settle myself into a stable position on the floor to resume work after a move.I'm not ready to give up yet, first the throw rug trial, if I don't like that then I'll return these and the rug and go back to a lesser quality more standard wheel.
