Ravensburger Sneaker American Style

If everything was in the box, I'd probably give the product 5 stars. However, the puzzle was missing the shoehorn, which provides stability in the toe area when putting together the puzzle. There are 4 structural pieces aside from the 108 puzzle pieces. There is a sole, the shoehorn, a curved plastic piece for the front edge of the shoe, and the storage container, which is inserted in the hole after the puzzle has been completed. We were missing the shoehorn. There's a point early in assembly where you have to span the toe area. The shoehorn provides support for the pieces. Without it, you have to come up with another way to span this open area. I ended up using some of the plastic bags that the puzzle pieces came in as well as my hand. Once I got that part covered, it held together, and I was able to complete the puzzle, but it's not as structurally sound as it would have been had it had the hard plastic piece providing support in that part of the shoe. As a side note, my 7 year old daughter sorted out all of the pieces and made piles of ten and then put those piles in numerical order, so I was able to put the puzzle together very quickly. It's not a difficult puzzle, and it looks good when completed, but it was missing an important piece, thus the 1 star.
