Great quality....IF you're not expecting vintage

These may not be the quality of the old vintage Pyrex mixing bowls but I like them a lot for what they are. The pattern is beautifully done. I've got Birds of a Feather. The bowls have a nice, comfortable weight and they clean up nicely. I admit that I'm very careful with these because I know anything new made by "Pyrex" after the 1990s is not going to hold up to the standards of the old Pyrex. This set has a lid for each bowl. They fit nicely and are just snug enough that I'd feel comfortable storing things overnight in the refrigerator. Any longer and I'd probably put a layer of Saran Wrap under the lid. These bowls nest inside each other with the lids off. I'm very happy with my purchase. May be because I wasn't expecting old Pyrex bowls. I was expecting basically what I got. But they're actually better than anticipated!! That's always nice!

So disappointed in these

I was really excited about these bowls as I love old pyrex but cannot use them in my family due to the lead and cadmium in the paint. I ordered these as soon as I saw them without hesitation. They come in an adorable round box and the print is so darling. That is the only good. The glass is thin and is exactly like correlle ware. They have a strange feel/texture to them. I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher as I fully believe the paint will rub right off. The lids are atrocious. They go on super easy and at first, wouldn't come back off easy. I would have to put my fingers under them and peel and bend with all my might. After doing that a few times now the lids don't fit anymore and just fall right off. I think these flaws are why they were being clearanced at Target and Zulily. Don't pay full price. If you must have them get them cheap. I wouldn't pay more than 20 bucks and only if you don't plan to use them as storage bowls.
