Best portable vacuum that we have tried, far superior to even the other battery Electrolux vacuums , incredible power and battery life. Electrolux designers were paying attention to ergonomics, function, as well as esthetics.It is easy to move and navigate in and under furniture, and harder to reach areas. . LED lights are helpful,to see dust under bed and hardwood floor. It’s quiet as well and there are two power speeds. Works well on hard floor,surfaces and the one carpeted room we have. It’s easy to clean the filter, and I’m always amazed how much junk this picks up especially now that we have a German Shepard golden retriever mix that sheds buckets. This is the second one we have purchased this one for a second home. The only downside is that replacement batteries seem to be only available from Electrolux and they cost more than the entire vacuum purchase from amazon. We did have battery issue with first unit, but Electrolux came through with warranty. The replacement battery has lasted over three years so far, and the second vacuum is only a few months old, but works just fine. We keep them plugged in all the time. We have a built in vacuum system in our house which works just fine, but we always reach for this vacuum for first, unless we are doing a major cleaning.

Ultra Useless

I loved this. It did the work, stored easily, was light and inconspicuous. Kind of cute, really. Then after two years it stopped working. A vacuum cleaner repairman told me to visit " Batteries and Bulbs," as he had no equipment to evaluate a lithium battery. B&B told me that neither the charger nor the battery was functioning. Returning to the the vacuum cleaner shop, I hoped to obtain a new battery and/or new charger. After an hour's work on the internet, the boss repairman determined that this machine is no longer made because the battery was deemed too expensive; no information was available, and no parts are on the market. It was hypothesized that, if you live in a rural area, subject to power outages, the "Ultra" is particularly subject to discharging itself so completely that it can't be resurrected. Whatever. I am so disappointed.
