It has been used in two homes, two diff rooms, and still looks as good as day one.

Bought the rug for the living room and then moved to a bigger space. I was disappointed that I didn't read the description very well and that it is not washable. Nonetheless, in my much bigger new place it is now a part of the kitchen. Not near the fridge, stove or sink, since it's not washable. Over yonder, where it sits and just looks pretty. I've had it quite a few months now, seven or so, and it's still a great rug. No unraveling. No bare spots. Just sits and looks cute. Doesn't move around either. We have a perfect relationship!

The Awkwardly Sized and Subpar Quality Rug
By Fadi Shamaan on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2023
Let me tell you, this nuLOOM Moroccan Blythe Area Rug is a real piece of work. If you're in the market for a rug that will make you question your taste in interior design, this is the one for you. First of all, let's talk about the size. The 5' x 7'5" dimensions are a bit of a head-scratcher. Who decided that was a good size for a rug? It's too big to fit in a small space, but too small to really make a statement in a larger room. I guess if you have an oddly shaped room that's 5' x 7'5", this rug would be perfect. But for the rest of us, it's just an awkward size. Now let's move on to the design. The Moroccan Blythe pattern is actually quite nice. It's got that trendy boho-chic vibe that everyone seems to be into these days. But the black color? What were they thinking? It's like they took a beautiful design and decided to make it as boring as possible. The black just sucks all the life out of the room. And let's talk about the quality. I've only had this rug for a few months and it's already falling apart. The edges are fraying and the fibers are starting to come loose. I don't know if I just got a defective rug or if this is the norm for nuLOOM rugs, but either way, it's not great. So overall, I'm giving this rug a solid one star. It's an awkward size, a boring color, and the quality is subpar. But hey, at least it's making me laugh every time I look at it. So if you're in the market for a rug that will make you chuckle, go ahead and buy the nuLOOM Moroccan Blythe Area Rug. Just don't expect it to last very long. The best area rug parameters will depend on your specific needs and preferences, but here are some factors to consider: 1. Size: The size of your rug will depend on the size of the room and the placement of furniture. You want to make sure the rug is large enough to fit under all of the furniture in the room, or at least the front legs of larger pieces. 2. Material: There are many different materials to choose from, including wool, cotton, jute, silk, and synthetic blends. Consider the durability, texture, and maintenance requirements of each material before making a decision. 3. Color and pattern: The color and pattern of your rug should complement the rest of the room's decor. Neutral colors and simple patterns work well in minimalist spaces, while bold colors and intricate patterns can add interest to more eclectic rooms. 4. Pile height: The pile height refers to the length of the fibers in the rug. A shorter pile is easier to clean and maintain, while a longer pile can feel more plush and luxurious. 5. Shape: Most area rugs come in rectangular shapes, but you can also find round, square, and oval options. Consider the shape of your room and furniture when choosing a rug shape. 6. Price: Area rugs can vary widely in price, so consider your budget when making a decision. Keep in mind that a higher price tag often means higher quality and durability.
