Why did you pick this product vs others?: Stainless steel all around, the auger is also steel. Fitd perfect on my mixer. Easy to wash, no part has changed color or chipped, have used it several times already.

ADEQUACY OF SMALL NOTCH IS QUESTIONABLE

There is a critical NOTCH that is manufactured too small and the risk is enormous: if the notch fails or slips, it can damage your KitchenAid stand mixer. It is probably possible for injuries to occur because of the powerful motor on the KitchenAid stand mixer. After the sale, the following information came with the product and states, "Designed especially for your KitchenAid stand mixer." "KitchenAid is a registered trademark of KitchenAid, U.S.A. THE ATTACHMENT IS NOT A PRODUCT OF KITCHENAID OR WHIRLPOOL CORP." The information material states, "Chef's Choice INTERNATIONAL" and it is serviced by EdgeCraft Corporation in Avondale, PA 19311. It does not clearly state where it is MANUFACTURED, whether in China or elsewhere. If you were proud of this information, you would clearly state where the product is MANUFACTURED. Amazon should not accept any product for sale that does not clearly inform the customer where it is MANUFACTURED. Revealing place of manufacturer to the purchaser is the only way to get improvement in quality, reliability and suitability of a product.
