Sturdy. To nice as art work to cut on tree side. Gift reciever enjoys it on display only... famous words to live by in her house, 'you cut my board, I WILL cut you..'.

Large 9" crack right through the center of the Board after just one use.

I have purchased products by this manufacture in the past; cutting boards, salad bowls, etc., and have been happy with all of them until this one. I washed it when I received and noticed that where the tree design was in the center of the board it was bleeding color. I let it thoroughly dry and then oiled it with oil specifically for bamboo. I got it out to use it on Christmas Day and was shocked to see a 9" crack right through the center of the Board. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. It was past the date to return it, so the next best thing was to write this review. I have had my other boards for 20 years with no problem.
