Amazing product, great Amazon price!

Got these on sale for $77, which at the time was an amazing deal, and now they're down to just $58. Snatch these up while you can! This is an adorable set and includes 110 pieces of various shapes and colors. There is also an idea book included. Build houses, cabins, castles, towers, and whatever else your heart desires! Be aware the Magformers are NOT compatible with Magnatiles or similar brands. This is a toy that will grow with you child; my son is three but I know people whose 7, 8, and 9 year olds still love this product. Fun for everyone in the family (including patents!)

Rounded edges make small structures wobbly

We'd used Magformers before in the past, but I had forgotten that the edges of the pieces are rounded instead of squares and that the pieces are rather thin. This makes creating stable building structures require many pieces for support. We had some other cheaper, solid rainbow building tiles that worked better in this regard, but their magnets were much weaker and the slightest movement in the room would make them collapse. These magnets are very strong, but small structures built with these pieces are wobbly due to the rounded edges. Also, 33 of these pieces don't have magnets and are considered "accessories". They snap on to the magnetic pieces. Please keep this in mind when considering the value of the set. If I had had this information before purchase, I think I would've chosen a different set.
