Cuisinart 16Pc Parisian Feast Dinnerware-Multi Color

To start, there was a broken dish, one of the smaller ones. But I don't think it has anything to do with the Cuisinart packaging as much as it has to do with Amazon's packaging. The box of dishes were put inside a much too large Amazon box upside down and then not enough packing material was put in, allowing the box to bounce around. The dish that was broken was the one on the bottom of the pile, taking all the abuse from being bounced around. Were it not for Amazon's poor excuse for packaging, these would have gotten a fifth star. The dishes themselves are wonderful looking. They're a good size and the colors are a beautiful not-quite pastel, which I love. They're definitely sturdy and have just the right amount of shadowing on them to make them look as though they're an old, beloved set of dishes. If I can find another set out in the world, rather than buying from Amazon ,I might be inclined to get another set. UPDATE 2/11/2017: Amazon was no help with regard to getting a replacement plate for the broken one. However, inside the box was a piece of paper with Cuisinart's customer service toll-free number. I called that number and told the CSR what my problem was. He took my name, address, phone number and description of the problem, that I needed the pink salad plate. He then told me he planned to forward the information to their corporate office. I didn't hold out much hope as I didn't hear back from them for several days. I was back to searching the internet, sadly, for a replacement. However, yesterday, I received a text message form UPS that my package had arrived. I hadn't ordered anything so was confused as to what package? When I got home, I opened the box and was STUNNED to see an entire service for four of the exact same dishes! Upon unpacking them, a differently colored salad plate was broken, the blue one and I dropped a mug, which didn't break, but the dinner plate it fell on did break, so that's on me. However, huge thanks goes out to Cuisinart for acting on this! I now have a complete service for four and am considering contacting Replacements.com to help others with the remaining dishes, beyond a service for six.
