T-Fal OptiGrill

I waited as long as I could before writing this review. when I first received the item I was pretty happy with thr preset buttons as they were working accordinglythe first time. however, after the first use the machine just went downhill from there. I Recalibrated it five times with little to no success on having the grill run as advertised/intended. I was super stoked because having a grill like this gives you an array of healthy options with presets that allow the itme to be cooked with little to no supervision but when it does not work as advertised there is no purpose of it. The pics above show a preset of a sandwich and when the food is placed and closed it goes straight to manual. I wanted a replacement to give this grill another shot, so I contacted the seller as well as Amazon and they cannot resolve the issue stating that they don't have enough of these items available to be replaced. a Pro to this machine are the ceramic plates they are super easy to clean. with that being said if you order this machine and it starts mal functioning within the month return it as soon as you can, do not hesitate because you will lose out on money that can be spent on another functioning Grill that does not need to to be recalibrated every minute you use it. Take away advice: Pro -removable easy to clean ceramic plates con -the constant recalibration defeats the purpose of having presets
