Avoid this item! Do not buy!

There is a handle at the top, but, if there is anything inside that needs to be kept cold, and you have snapped all the snaps closed, all of those snaps open up as soon as you grab the bag (with something inside) by the handles. The weight of whatever is inside is too much for the snaps to be held in place shut. I am so sorry I bought this worthless piece of you know what. And I am sorry I missed my Amazon return window because I was in the process of retiring from my job and I was busy with other things.

Nice to use on picnic to keep drinks cold or put frozen groceries in after the store
Well made

Better than other brands I've had. Keeps ice cream and frozen food frozen in summertime or winter when car heater is running.
Food Kept Cold for Hours

Having a 5 pk is great for multi-use. I keep ice and food separate. Ice kept nice for hours during a hot summer day. It has plastic handle and push button closure. Push buttons don't always snap shut, so double check. Bag is not leak proof as it doesn't have a tight seal at closure. Bag has also shown worn after 3-4 uses.
True to their word - kept food cold for our 3 hour car ride

I've seen these bags in the stores lots of times but never bought them until I needed them to transport food during a 3 hour drive out of town. I added a cold pack to the already frozen items and they arrived just as solid as when we left. Another bag contained refrigerated items and with a cold pack, everything arrived cold. Considering how they left, they probably could have kept food cold or frozen for longer than 3 hours. Next test will be hot foods for Thanksgiving.
Great for country living

We recently moved from the city to a property in the country well outside of town - my drive from the grocery store to home is about 30 miles. I purchased these to transport perishable groceries - especially dairy and frozen items - back home. I have used these with frozen meat, milk, and refrigerated desserts and they all were still frozen or cold just as when I left the store back in town. A couple of weeks ago I purchased frozen meat at the local meat locker and ran errands for a couple of hours after that. Arriving back home about 3 hours later on a 85 degree day, everything was still frozen and had not thawed a bit. I also recently used these to pick up pizza at a local pizzeria about 20 miles away and the pizza and breadsticks were still warm when I arrived home. These are definitely worth every penny and I will certainly buy more in the future if I need more. One thing to note is that these will only hold a small pizza. The medium pizza would not quite fit in the bag, so I plan to purchase a few of the jumbo size bags as well.
Perfect size.

Have their purpose but considering the price are disappointing overall

It seems the only way to get a decent price on these is to buy them in bulk so that's why I bought these. I was just going to use one or two for trips to the grocery store and they work fine for that as long as you aren't going far, include a bag of ice or ice pack, and it's not a freaking 90-100 degrees out. Otherwise they do not keep food cold very long. Also, believe the reviews that mention how fragile these are. They look sturdy but are not. You have to be very careful of any sharp edges on the food you transport, such as the corners of milk cartons, edges of bacon packages or shrink wrapped meat with the sharp edges, especially anything heavy. Bottom line...they are a great concept and easy to use but in my opinion too expensive for how long they will hold up and the careful handling they require. Since I have five of these I came up with an idea for a trip I was taking. I only needed to transport the food and wanted to save room in the car which usually has a third of the available space taken up by a cooler. They worked great for that as I was able to fit these in here and there instead of the big bulk of the cooler. Just make sure you use enough ice or ice packs and place where they won't be in direct sun if possible. This won't work for more than a half day's drive though, 4-8hrs.
Ok, but snaps are way too flimsy

It is good at keeping products cold or warm for a period of time. The big drawback is the flimsy fasteners to open & seal the bag. The fasteners are the plastic snap type where you have to line up all the fasteners to seal it, problem is it is a royal pain to try to line up all those fasteners just right and it usually takes some time to try to do that. So if you are in a hurry to want to try to seal this bag you're in for a disappointment; like I said, you will be there awhile trying to get them all to try to line up. Royal pain! Then if you have a number of items in the bag or it's heavy; the weight will cause the flimsy snaps to pop open, meaning you'll have the royal pain of having to take the time to line them all up just right all over again. You will find you will have to stick one hand under the bag as you carry it with the other if there are heavy food items in it so that it doesn't keep popping the flimsy snaps open. This company definitely needs to find a much better, quicker, and more reliable way to seal the bag then these flimsy snaps!
