bold craftmanship fades to a hint of genius

I'm not a big wine drinker, but I buy vintage and I don't like serving vinegar to my guests. The most suitable environment I currently have for wine storage is inside a bedroom dresser cabinet. Cool, dry and dark. This rack was perfect for what I needed. It fits the cabinet like it was made for it. The construction is solid and clean. Nice finish, no rough edges. If earthquakes aren't a worry, you could actually store ten bottles by laying two more pyramid style on top of each base of three. There is a slight back to front slant to ensure cork immersion, and also presumably for ease of bottle removal. The one concern I had about this product (instability of the scissors design) was not realized. The swivel of the two side pieces is loose when folded, but as you unfold it into the position of use it stiffens to be almost immovable. Certainly stable enough for the weight of the wine bottles. Very clever. Well made.

Great for bottles without corks

Looks nice, and helps keep bottles organized. I'm not a huge drinker so some wines may sit there for a few months. Because of the angle the top of the bottles are lower, the corks will be soaking the whole time. If you've ever attempted to open a bottle with a wet cork you'll know the mess and struggle. 2 wine bottles were wasted because of this. But with that knowledge it's great for every other type of bottle!

Really like this wine bottle rack. Folds flat for storage. Comes in one piece, no assembly! Very simple design, would go with everything, and doesn't take up much room. Nice compact storage. I've only had it a few days, so I can't speak to the durability of it, but it seems very well made and should last a long time. Wonderful product!

This wine rack is perfect for my use: under cabinets/on top of counter. Right height. Right engineering (correct tilt to keep corks submerged; completely stable). Right number of bottles -- as another reviewer has said, it can even hold two additional bottles on top and on the bottom, one each in the two gaps between the three bottles on each level. I have a wrought Iron wall holder that holds 5 bottles. The other week it was in the high 80's so I opened a new bottle of Sangria I had and sat out on the deck with my neighbor and enjoyed it ! It was so good, I went and purchased a case for the summer. I gave my neighbor a few bottles and then realized I needed a place to put the remaining. I went on Amazon and found this. It is compact, holds 6 bottles and I can put it anywhere! I have a cabinet where I was just standing bottles up and thought that this would be the perfect place to put it! It opens right up and you just sit the bottles on it. Slight down tilt to keep the cork wet.The quality was excellent and I think this is a great bargain for the price.! Looks great. I got the white color and it gives a clean, simple, sophisticated look to our Bar. It fits six of the regular size wine bottles, or four of the large size wine bottles, or four regular size with two of the large size wine bottles. You could also stack two extra bottles on top of the bottles on the top if you wanted. If you want a great simple design, all wood, and good functionality in a wine rack, I would definitely recommend this one.

Here's the thing. I don't drink. Yet, I buy a bottle of wine from time to time. I buy them for how they will look in my kitchen. Think of them as art books on a coffee table, only for a kitchen.So here I am with six bottles on my counter and just sitting there. I love this small wine rack! I have a small home, and I put this rack on a shelf inside my pantry, which also must serve as a coat closet and cookbook bookshelf. There was no assembly; and the cutouts are set up so that the wine bottles tip down a bit, keeping the corks wet and preserving the wine (not that I keep the wine that long, since I have so little storage space!) this little rack totally met my needs.
