This is the perfect solution for those who want the stability of a frame without the burden of a box spring. It was very easy to assemble and all the instructions are clear with the tools to assemble included in the package. I bought a queen and my memory foam mattress fit on this frame perfectly. There is ample support to keep you from having a bough in the middle which would cause back issues. I haven't had any issues with scratches on the metal. It is sturdy enough to support me with my three dogs or with a human sleeping partner. I am writing this review after having bought 2 of these and for having them both for 8 years. I put a tuft and needle mattress on this frame and a different foam mattress of the other frame. This is a great buy for a really great price. I also bought a headboard with the second one and it looks great!

Side is bowing

I purchased the frame about a month ago (Dec 17th) and it's now January 14th. I needed an inexpensive frame and thought this upholstered ZINUS would be a good purchase. One side of the frame is already bowing. I believe there is plastic alongside and under the fabric to keep the fabric looking even. That plastic is bowing in several areas along one side of the frame. The other side appears to be okay. I don't believe there is any structural or safety issues but I got a fabric frame to make it a bit prettier rather than just getting a metal frame. In hindsight I should have just gotten a metal frame instead. I've uploaded a picture showing an example of one bow with the mattress moved over a bit so you can see it a bit better. There are three total. Maybe some staples came apart? Not sure and can't really tell without removing the fabric. It's functional so returning it would be a waste of time and resources. Just adding my experience for others in case it helps with a buying decision. Aside from this, it's been a solid frame and good purchase but I suspect it won't hold up as long as a metal only frame.
