This is a high quality pan from a trusted producer like T-fal. Nice and big with a handle that works great for easy gripping. The sparkling stainless looks great after cleanup and the cooking performance is what you'd expect from a stainless pan. Great buy.

Crazy burn/fire hazard

I liked the pot great for a couple years. Then I made the mistake of steaming it dry for less than 7 minutes- I had the timer on! The inner metal on the bottom became like lava & started spurting out the side (at the bottom). When I picked it up, the whole bottom popped off & some metal poured out onto my stovetop. Thankfully, it didn’t slosh on me or the dog!! Stovetop is permanently discolored now. T-Fal told me this could happen & is user error. I know I messed up, but no one I know has ever seen this happen to a pot. Very scary!!
