Excellent Drying Rack

We bought this so we could have a place to lay out our clothes from the dryer to fold. We also use it as a drying rack for items that can not go in the dryer. This product is great! It is sturdy and balanced enough to have a full load of laundry on one end and not flip over. When using it as a drying rack, the adjustable angle/height on the "wings" allows for different positions to hang from. Though we have not used them yet, the shoe hooks on the bottom are adjustable and look perfect should you need to wash and dry a pair of shoes. The product is light weight and easy to move around even with clothes on it. Folding it up to store away in between loads is easy and quick. Only draw back is the spacing between bars on the wings doesn't allow for the first few items of clothing to lay perfectly flat or socks/personal items to fall through. But I simply use a towel to create a "flat/full" surface so the clothes don't fall through. Would buy again as a gift or if this one ever wears out/breaks.

It's ok so far.

I have only used it a couple of times for light items ( kitchen towels and undergarments ). I like that it is a powder finish as wood and stainless tend to stain after a while. I also like that the bars are thick so they don't leave marks on your clothes if you hang them directly on the bars. The reason I give a 3 stars is that the hanging bars are too short. They need to be a couple inches longer to be really useful . They are fine for small items such as baby / children clothes and undergarments , but they are too short to hang anything else directly on the rods. The big blue and yellow store's white and red kitchen towels do not completely fit stretched out for ex . I hang 90 % of my laundry on hangers on a rod , so I am more or less ok with it. It also takes more space than the accordion style as it opens horizontally VS. vertically , but that I knew when I ordered it. I just hope it will last longer than the last one ( accordion style ) I got as the last one only lasted a couple of weeks of light use. I will update if it falls apart early.
