Does the job!

For the money, a nice serviceable Chinese copy of a Japanese knife. It is 3 layers... not meant to compete in quality with a 16 layer knife.

Not a particularly good choice, IMHO

I wanted a new paring knife and I wanted a brand I hadn't tried before. This knife arrived in 3 days. It was well packaged with heavy paper and a box surrounding the gift box that held the knife. There was a blade protector in there with the knife, but not protecting the knife. The knife is fairly sharp, but the blade is very flimsy compared to my other forged paring knives. It even feels thinner than my Forschner paring knife, although I haven't measured them. The handle is very attractive, but, for my hand, is too thick in the middle. Fit and finish are OK. Overall, not worth the money paid. I wouldn't recommend this knife. There are other choices of either better knives or at better price points.
