Lifesmart Slimline Quartz Heater

i live in a mobile home without central heat and air. i have one in every room and two in the living room set it on low and to 68 degrees and leave it on all day during the winter. the heaters will turn on and off and keep the house comfortable. i also like the heavy duty three prong cord as it doesn't get hot if the heater runs for an extended period of time on cold days. very satisfied.

I liked everything about the LifeSmart Slimline-3 Infrared Heater. In fact I now have 2 of these heaters and I'm completely satisfied.

Worked perfect for my needs in my motor home

I use this as supplemental heat in the living room. It doesn’t seem to throw a lot of heat, even with the fan running. Space constraints dictated my choice, so I’ll live with it.

I purchased this heater at the beginning of winter. It heats my (approximate) 700sf apartment without a problem. I have electric baseboard heat throughout but it is very inefficient. Last year my electric bill averaged around $140, which during the spring and fall is more like $30 per month. I have a lot of doorways in my apartment which it more difficult for heat to transfer rooms. On real cold nights I might have to use a small heater in one of my far rooms but for the most part this unit provides enough heat for all the rooms. I would definitely recommend this heater to anyone as it is a very safe unit for indoor use as well. It is currently mid January and most nights are in the low 20’s. My electric bill was only $45 last month and this ran just about nonstop on its low setting.

I had this for 5 days and it stopped working. It started making a popping noise at day 4 and a burning smell started and on day 5 it stopped heating. I returned and exchanged for another and it is having a hard time detecting the temperature in the home. I had to turn it up throughout the night as it would not come on. I would set it at 72 and it still wont click on when the temperature in the home is in the 60's.
