Excalibur Professional Dual Pump Vacuum

I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and so far, I LOVE IT!!! Previously I had a Foodsaver (one of 3 total) and within less than a year the Foodsaver would stop working. Either it wouldn't seal or it wouldn't vacuum and when it did do me the favor of vacuuming & sealing it was only after much effort and repeated tries. I take very, very good care of my appliances and tools so there was no reason I could discern for the Foodsavers to stop working. I finally got fed up with them and bought the Excalibur Vacuum Sealer and I'm so glad I did. It isn't temperamental at all as the Foodsavers were. It makes an excellent seal and it vacuums each time with no problems. It's very sturdy and easy to use. I like the pulse vacuum option for softer foods such as lettuce, spinach, etc. You can pulse the vacuum to just the point you want without crushing the food and then seal it. I also have the Excalibur Food Dehydrator which I haven't used yet but so far the Excalibur brand seems like a reliable, well-made product. I'll add to this review as I use this further and I'm hoping it won't disappoint me like the Foodsaver has.
