Perfect factory new Furi Pro
By David F on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2024
Love the knife. We have a Furi Pro set that is 30 years old. I bought this boning knife because I don't have enough sharpening skill to get my 30 year old boning knife back to factory sharp (sharp enough to cut a piece of paper on edge). The sharpening service locally did a good job but still not factory sharp. To take it to a high end sharpening service will cost $25 and I'll have to leave it. I bought this one to rotate and I figure I get at least 10 - 15 years of factory sharp with just my honing skill. The only difference is the NEW Furi has a MUCH thicker, heavier handle. I love it even more than the original. It is a little heavier than my wife prefers but she is 101 lb petite woman. If you know what you are looking for, you see the handle difference in the knife block, but nobody but us is gonna notice. Great knife. I live that the blade and handle on this Furi Pro set are one solid piece of steel. That makes it super easy to clean and looks cool as well.

I don't like it

It cuts. It's very sharp, as all knives are when you first get them. But I don't like the grip. Because of the shape of the grip, it spins around on the counter when you set it down, presenting a safety hazard.
