Wish I would've found these socks sooner!

These socks are so cute and made just as well as the socks we always buy at our local Target. But SO MUCH CUTER!! Seriously, my husband, who is a stylish guy, is super jealous of our son's socks. That said, he owns a pair that closely match a couple of these here so they will be sock twins. Love it! Will likely buy a set in a larger size to have on hand when those little feet inevitably grow. My son is 4 and wears size 10 shoes (but currently growing into size 11) and I bought size "6-8 years" socks which seemed a little big out of the box but after the first wash shrunk just a tiny bit and they fit perfectly with a little room to grow. PERFECT!! So happy with this purchase and only wish I would've found these years ago. I would have stocked up on socks a long time ago! (this type of sock is for some reason hard to find in the stores - you can only find ankle socks EVERYWHERE even when we visited my family where it SNOWS - why is there always a crew sock shortage?! what's up with that??)

Shrunk after first wash. Complicated patterns create bulky loose threads on inside.

Great color combos. I would give 5 stars, but they shrunk after I washed/dried them. My suggestion is to order a size up or let them air dry, I wish I would have known that beforehand. Also, the more colors on an individual sock, the more loose threads on the inside of the sock (every color change in the stripes, patterns, etc results in a bunch of loose threads). This would be very annoying/uncomfortable for the wearer. I read this in another review, and opted for the simplest pattern combo.
